Well, I too, must give this great little book 5 stars. Jewels breaks down 18 challenges into their symptoms and cost, plus a personal story to expand on each challenge, followed by How to Apply Happiness to each one. She's obviously been through a lot i her life and has opened it up to the reader to see there are ways to be happy when we think we cannot.Many of the symptoms and costs seemed at first a bit repetitive, but the story would elaborate on the differences each time.
One benefit, even though this is a short book, is one could use it for follow-ups and reminders of what to do bye reading the challenges and cost and skipping over the story to the fix. Thank you, Jewels for a nice way to examine these everyday challenges.

I relate the the personal stories Jewels shared in the book, and the activities she recommends give me good food for thought. It's a great book with intersesting perspectives.
So parallel to my own life story! I can surely identify with the joys, pains, struggles, and everything else in between. To be able to persevere and overcome many obstacles is a blessing and I enjoyed reading this book so much - highly recommend it!!!
Great book and useful ways to change your outlook. Written from her own life experiences Jewels uses these life lessons to help others achieve the happiness we all deserve. Each chapter features a simple method to help you change your perspective in a different way that helps you reach the goal of being a happy person. I highly recommend this book!
This book has been in my library for awhile and I've put off reading it in favor of others in my ever-growing TBR list. I'm glad I decided to read it now. There's a lot of tips and exercises for helping to frame out emotions and thoughts in a more positive way. It may be short, but it's packed with good advice and stories. Would recommend.
